Wagner Farm
The farm was nice. I got ice cream.
I milked a cow, well not for long. Then a machine did it. The cow made 2 gallons of milk and that is like 4 of those bottles you get. You milk a cow twice a day, so that would be 8 bottles of milk from one day. Just by a cow eating grass. Magic.
I was walking a cow to its house and it was hungry so we gave it breakfast.
I made a cow breakfast.
We saw sheep.
I learned how to feed some horses. You can't hold it with a hemisphere shaped hand. You have to hold your hand flat, or else the horse will eat your hand.
We saw something called a tomtato. It grows tomatoes at the top and potatoes at the bottom. I'm serious here-- there is a plant called a tomtato, it is a real plant it's not like 2 seeds, like a tomato seed and a potato seed-- it isn't that.
The sign says "This plant was created by grafting. Grafting is when you put two different plants together to create one plant. Each plant is grafted by hand. There is a tomato plant that is grafted onto the potato plant."
I saw a chipmunk on the deck when we were writing this.
